Angela Evelyn Bassett is an American actress from America. Since the mid 80s Angela Evelyn has appeared on film and television. The actress has won many awards, including the 16 NAACP Image Awards. Bassett grew up living in Winston-Salem North Carolina, raised by an aunt who lived in New York New York. Bassett, her sister and their mother moved to St. Petersburg Florida when Bassett was 5 years old. The father of the family had separated from their mom. Bassett was in high school when watched James Earl Jones staring John Steinbeck play Of Mice and Men and was aware that her goal of becoming an actor had been born. Yale University New Haven Connecticut, where she received her bachelor's in African American and master's degrees (1983). While at Yale she met Courtney B. Vance a actress who was a friend of hers. They married in 1997. Qualification: B.A. Bachelor of Arts (Afro-American studies) in 1980. An M.A. in Fine Arts (Drama) from Yale School of Drama School. Angela Bassett currently works in one of her main characters, Ramonda, in the action adventure film i.e. Black Panther Wakanda forever 2022.
